The call-up to the Spanish Under-21 squad for the first two qualifiers for the European Championship 2025 has brought triple joy for the Valencia CF squad. Fran Pérez, Diego López and Javi Guerra have been included in the final list given this Friday by national team coach Santi Denia for the matches against Malta and Scotland, which means a reward for the work they have been doing in recent months with Valencia CF along with the rest of their teammates.
In this call-up, Valencia CF is the team with the most representatives, as it is the only one with three players selected. Furthermore, it is worth noting that Javi, Diego and Fran have not only shared a dressing room in the first team, but have also played for VCF Mestalla for many months, which makes this call-up a recognition of the work of the VCF Academy.

For Diego López and Fran Pérez, this will be their first call-up to the Spanish youth ranks, while for Javi Guerra it will be the second time he has taken part in a national training camp after a previous call-up with the Under-19s, also with Santi Denia as coach.
The three Valencianistas called up by Santi Denia were very happy for the opportunity to defend their country's colours and were grateful to their teammates who have made this call-up to the U21s possible.
